NIPT検査が陽性だった場合の流れは？

NIPT（新型出生前診断）は、お腹の赤ちゃんの染色体異常を調べられる検査。ママの採血だけで、赤ちゃんのさまざまな情報を得ることができます。

NIPTの検査精度は感度99％と非常に高く、信頼できる検査です。しかし【非確定的検査】なので、疾患の可能性が「高い」「低い」としか診断することはできません。

そのため、NIPTで【陽性】判定が認められた祭、検査結果を確定させるためには【確定的検査】を受ける必要があります。
よく耳にする【羊水検査】も確定的検査の1つです。

羊水検査ってどのくらいの費用がかかる？

前提として、羊水検査は【自由診療】です。保険は適用されません。
また、国や自治体などによる補助金もありません。そのため【全額自己負担】で受けることになります。
気になる費用は、【約10～20万円】が一般的。
「非確定的診断で陽性判定→確定的診断」という流れで受けられる方が多いため、NIPTなどの非確定的診断の費用＋確定的診断がかかります。
中には、費用の高さがネックとなり、羊水検査を断念せざるを得ない方もおられるようです。
